About the fibre
Renowned for the making of ‘Panama’ hats, palm leaf is often woven. Its fineness is particularly valued for basketry. Here, it is handwoven on a loom. The artisans who work this fiber have passed down their knowledge from generation to generation. The manufacturing process is meticulous and requires incredible skill.

BOTANICAL WEAVE WALLCOVERING
A true tribute to weaving, where the clear and tactile expression of craftsmanship with Japanese-inspired finesse comes to life. Mats, checkerboard weaves, and two-material marquetry bring palm, bamboo, and abaca to life in a unique way, subtly evoking shoji screens and kakemonos. Through natural tones, as well as sumptuous shades of blue and black, the raw beauty of the fibers is revealed and elevated.
